Six Hospitalized After Accident Along Kisii-Keroka Highway

Six people are undergoing treatment after the vehicle they were traveling in was involved in an accident along the Kisii-Keroka highway.

Police said the incident happened after a matatu rammed into a bus at Ribwago area.

Keroka deputy traffic base commander Fred Odadah said the bus was heading to Kisii with the bus heading in the opposite direction.

“The injured passengers were rushed to Keroka Sub County hospital. Six of them got injured,” he added.

Motorists have been urged to be careful on the roads in order to avoid accidents.

“We are working closely with the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA), to ensure traffic rules and regulations are adhered to,” police added.
