📍News Update: Confirmation and Holy Communion Service at ACK Kirima Church – Gatuto Parish

Today, ACK Kirima Church in Gatuto Parish had the honor of hosting a Confirmation and Holy Communion service led by Rt. Rev. Bishop. The faithful gathered in large numbers, sharing in a spiritually uplifting experience.
During the visit, the Bishop delivered a deeply reflective sermon titled “Why Do We Go to Church?” Drawing from the challenges of modern-day Christianity, he called believers to examine their purpose in worship. He emphasized that the ultimate reason for attending church is to serve God alone, avoiding the snares of modern idolatry, such as human worship and the pride of vanity.
The Bishop further encouraged the congregation to cultivate a culture of thanksgiving that truly pleases God. This, he explained, is best expressed through praise, which manifests in different forms—singing, offering, and most importantly, dedicating oneself to the ministry of God.
In his conclusion, the Bishop offered words of assurance, reminding all present that God will ultimately vindicate His faithful people. It was indeed a blessed and spirit-filled day for the Christians of ACK Kirima Church.
