President William Ruto is in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County, as part of his two-day tour of the region.

The Head-of-State, who was received by  Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya, is currently attending the ordination of Reverend Father Henry Juma Odonya who was in November 2022 named the new bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Kitale by Pope Francis.
